I am forever indebted to you and so very grateful for the freedoms you afforded me. Special mention to all of the family members of our Veterans from spouses, parents, siblings and loved ones who kept things going at home and provided the love and support to keep them going through some pretty rough and unimaginable experiences and losses to say the least! We love you! 😃 Josie Navarro

11/17/2011 1:51:13 PM | A belated 'second the motion' to Josie's Veterans' Day wishes, and may I propose a toast to 'those who served, and those who serve' for this upcoming Thanksgiving - we all certainly have a lot to be thankful for, even in these times. And speaking of 'thanks', I propose a second toast this Thanksgiving, to our own 401st 'three muskateers + Josie', who've this year, accomplished so much (so quietly as to hardly be noticed). Particularly Rick Kaufman, Don Byers and Ed Dana II, who've 'grown' our Website to a 'CAVU 401st Archive', now including: - - More searchability; - - The four Squadron Histories by Vic MAslen; and - - ALL 401st Mission Reports from the National Archives, for the most accurate and complete record (and resource), - - Available to ALL, thanks to the foresight of the 401st Board. So Happy Holidays - And please support your 401st Historian! Win

I guess the "Tres Amigos" could work too. I appreciate what they've contributed here as well, and it's only going to get better! Those are some great minds there working hard for the association!! I don't even pretend to know what they're talking about sometimes...they really know their stuff! Very thankful and proud to be associated with the 401st, Josie 🙂
