Time is so close now for the Reunion that I am getting the itchy feet. As stated in the PFG I will be conducting Oral Histories. I hope if any that are planning to attend will contact me to set up a time for this historical event of capturing history as it was between 1942-1945. Also those who might bring pictures that can be scanned while I am there.

As a few of you already know, I'm unfortunately unable to attend this year's shindig. 😢

Here's hoping everyone has a great time, and I'll see you all at the 2012 reunion.

All the best,
Paul

I am excited about the upcoming reunion and hope that there is a great turnout. The Mighty Eighth Museum should be tops. See you there, Don, and Paul, see you in two years. Jean

Just adding my bit to wish all attendees a great time at the reunion and don't forget not to fall out children and play nice 😂 Unfortunately medical advice prevents me from pressurised flying so a reunion is one thing I shall never make 😢 you guys will just have to come over here 😎 Anyway enjoy

All the best

Whew!

1. The Savannah Reunion seemed to take so very long to 'get here', but when it did, seemed to be only about an hour or two long!
Time went by so fast we MUST have been having fun. ...And we were - Thank you everyone.

2. Well, this seems the best place (thread) to ask: Where do we send all those great photos we all took at the Reunion?

Well Win-win, that would be Kele but she is planning on publishing the PFG before she leaves early next week for her usual round of the dog judging. I also agree that it went much faster then anyone expected. It felt like I had no time.....

And while I'm asking:

Does anyone have a nice photo of the Deenethorpe Diorama at the 8th AAF Museum in Savannah they could E-mail to me?

In all the Reunion hub-bub I took photos of (just about) everyhing else, but wound-up with none of the Diorama! (That's as good a reason we need to go back for a 2nd visit...)

I'll send you what I have Win. My photos are so-so but you decide! I thought I read somewhere that photos for the albums could be sent to the webmaster but I could be wrong. It was great to finally meet you!

Josie 🙂

Win - I tried to email you the photos twice but there was a delivery problem and they will not go through. I'll try again another day...

Josie 🙂
