9/27/2009 3:10:11 PM | Thanks for the response, Don. I foolishly didn't take notes, but what I saw were not references to books but references to gathering information with plans to write books. Since those messages were several years old I thought at least one book might have come out by now, but didn't find any on the usual book sites. Yes, I've seen that ad; it's one of the things that led me astray when I was just starting my search for information about Ice Cold Katy -- I foolishly assumed the picture was the real nose art so I kept looking for it in photos of planes. If only! I've come across quite a few photos of 42-107039 Katy now, as well as a couple of the other Ice Cold Katys -- and none have nose art as lovely as that ad. 🙂
