Info about new book of interest to 401st folks:
"Particles in a Stream - D-Day and After", by James Risher Jr.
His sons (James E Risher III and Joseph K Risher) published their father's narrative of his WW2 experiences as a pilot in the 614th. Book is available for Nook, Kindle, and can be purchased at Xlibris.com, Amazon.com, and Barnesandnoble.com. I spoke with James (III) and he recognized my name. He told me there was a story about Lt. Kaufman in his Dad's writings. Needless to say, I have a book coming my way! Reviews seem positive. I will update this post after I receive and read the book...
