I have a 5 by 7 b/w pic of a B-17 from the 401 st .Its a b-17G,Tail # 338758 P,the bomb doors are open and I can see 5 500lb bombs on the way down.Can anyone tell me about this B-17. Also there is no nose art. Thank you for your time.

I sent him to that listing and I just checked out the Hansen Crew since it was suppose to have flown 14 missions on this plane and it isn't even listed under the Hansen Crew on any mission?

Went and did a little more searching and found documented crews of the 613th flew 12 missions and crews of the 615th flew 19 missions for a total of 31 documented missions and was in service for about 6 months. That is why it never had a nickname.
