8/3/2006 10:58:42 AM | On 10 January 1945 B-17G “Hard Seventeen” lost two engines above target Euskirchen and made and forced landing at Grimbergen (Belgium,) 6,5 NM NNE of Brussels. In September 2006 I organize an exposition about the wartime history of Grimbergen airfield. Can anyone give me more information about the last flight of 42-102659 IW-J ? Maybe 1st Lt R.B Thompson or one of his crewmembers are still able to help me with more details about the last flight of the IW-J ?
