Ken Badgley 4/7/2005 7:36:40 PM | I have been doing some research for a friend whose husband was on the "Carolina Queen" when it went down on 11 January 1944 on a mission to Oscherslaben. Is there a specific report I should ask NARA for, or another source, that would give the precise location of the crash site? Thanks for the help.      |
Chris Spear 4/7/2005 10:56:33 PM | Ken, If the plane crashed in Germany, the Luftwaffe "KU" report should i d the site. This report is sometimes avail as an attachment to the MACR report generated by the Army Air Force. hope this helps |
