Bill Rush 9/15/2002 10:27:00 PM | I am William Louis Rush, named after my Uncle, Captain Louis S. Rush. He was in the Eight AF, 401st Bomb group. He was a navigator. His pilot was Stephen J. Lozinski. Their B-17 was named the "Freckles". They were in the 615th squadron He was shot down on Feb 16th, 1945 over Germany and died. I would like to know more if possible. Which crew members survived. What happened to the plane that day. More about the mission. Any other details about my Uncle Louis. Do you have any information which might be of help? Thanks. Scott McElvain 10/10/2002 11:49:43 AM | I have a crew listing of names, missions, and known aircraft flown plus a description of what happened when their plane was shot down. The information was corrected by an individual at one of the reunions to include adding your Uncle to Lozinski's first crew. I can also include info on the planes he flew in. E-mail me your address and I will make a copy and sent it to you. |
