is a true story about a B-17 crew from the 401st Bomb Group 615th Squadron and the local Danish people who helped them evade and escape.
The B-17 Bomber crash landed May 24, 1944 on the Danish island of Bornholm in the Baltic Sea, after having been hit by flak on a mission to BIG "B" - Berlin.
All ten airmen evaded capture, escaped to Sweden, returned to England and made it back to the States.
The crew and the Danish local people who helped them - all survived the war.
The English version of approx. 250 pages incl. 100 photos is available in June 2002!
