Elmer R. Cheatham 1/6/2004 8:04:08 PM | I knew Sgt Agee - we were in the same squadron at Deenethorpe. He was on the crew of Lt. Ferdyn. On May 28, 1944, he and his crew were on the aircraft piloted by our pilot, Vincent J. Kaminski. They were shot down on a mission to Dessau, Germany. I think there were only two survivors. We were required to do 30 missions, then go home. I had completed my 30th on May 19 and had left the base before 5/28/44. If I can pass along any further information I would be glad to. |
