5/9/2010 2:10:32 PM | Hello, I have a small zerox copy of a photo of a Sgt.Katz, no other initials etc available, he's wearing a cloth flight jacket that has the "early" 612th Bombardment Squadron "Mangler" bear mascot design on his jacket.
I am looking for a good color example photo of this emblem and or contact with Sgt.Katz if he's still with us to try and find a photo of this emblem and it's proper colors/details.
I would greatly appreciate any help with these items, I've been trying to find this emblems details/colors for quite sometime and realize it was a short lived design, but even so it was used and I know was made into both cloth and leather patch forms.
I thank you all for your service to our country during WW-2 and what you did for us, it 's Very Much appreciated more than words can say !!!!!!!
