| Elmer Browning, Turret gunner, of Elmer Gillespie's 615th crew has written an account of their missions from his diary.  He named the book, as well as being the name of their aircraft, Elmer's Tune, after two Elmers in the crew and Glenn Millers popular song, Elmer's Tune.
