Today I sit and think of ”White” clouds in the sky, and as I sit and watch them I often wonder why. Why do others in the world cause so much heartache and pain, that cause men and women to lose their lives again. The United States Armed Forces is there for everyone, no man or women I know ever wants to use a gun. We have given freedom to many through the years, and it cost us many lives and brought many families tears. Without the strength and bravery of those now and before, our country would not be strong and have an open door. Our open door is like our hearts filled with love for all of you, may you always feel our pride in everything you do. Today you see is special as I think of all of you, and as I think of you with pride, I am anything but “Blue”. ~~~~Dedicated to all the men and women past and present who serve in any branch of our armed forces. We owe our lives and our freedom to each and everyone of you!~~~~ Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you have done! Written by Jackie Sheflin-daughter of SM Sgt Jack T.
