Can you Identify anyone? Please speak up and put a name to a face if you can!

Robert A.Sunderlin (Second row from top, third man from left)

At my first opportunity I will scan a full size image and link to it on this post for easier viewing.

Is the picture dated? My father was in the 613th in 1945.

Not dated but might be able to find out. Is your father in the photo? This is believed to be statesite photo.

The original photo has no date on it at all, but it would have to be dated after Feb 10th 1945 when Bob Sunderlin arrived on the base and before June 11 1945 when he left for the states.

It may be narrowed down further in the future as more people and more dates and personal logs come in but that's the best I can do for now.

I hope that helps.

I believe this to be a stateside school photo not a Deenethorpe photo the building is wrong. Looks as though there are two instructors in the photo. Don

Hi Tag,

I think Don is probably right - this looks-like a State-side training class photo - maybe your Dad's Gunnery School Class.
-
Do you have any of your Dad's military records identifying what Gunnery School he attended (and when)? There were several. If you find that info, you may be able to 'Google' the school and find more similar photos (that may at-least confirm where that photo was taken, and if you're lucky, maybe even some other School records or resources that may list attendees or something.

...you just never know...

Good luck,
Win Bryson
