Hey guys, got a new book the other day, "The Men Who Killed the Luftwaffe....The U.S. Army Air Forces against Germany in World War II".
Author, Jay A. Stout.
Author is a retired Marine Corps with 20 years of service, that flew 37 combat missions during Operation Desert Storm.

Anyways, I have not started teh book yet, but will let you guys know how it is once I do.

What happened to my other book review, it's too late for the upcoming PFG but would still like to have it for the next one.

Thanks Don

Ok Don, I pulled the book down. Gonna browse through it for you to get a refresher. Before I do, what are you wanting. I mean, I know you would like a review, but how detailed do you want, and is there anything specific you would like me to make note of?

Edit:I started the new book I listed above, and so far, it has teh history of how teh Air Force came about, and who was there "in the beginning, like "Hap" and Spaatzs teh history of how Roosevelt got funding for the USAAF, how Britain was receiveing ALOT of teh aircraft, and that was upsetting Hap (even more so, was teh fact that a Gentlemen by the name of Harry Morgenthau was allocating these aircraft to Britain, and he really wasn't involved, or responsible for building the nations's air force, yet he had power to "give away" every aircraft produced)
Anyways, that is wherre I am right now. Also has about the aircraft and it's testing. SO has been very educational, and so far, has been very different fro the books I have read up to this point about our USAAF/WWII
