Melvin S. Fish which had a 10 man crew. Upon arrival to the 401st Bomb Group crews had been downsized to a 9 man crew. Then Cpl. Byers was transferred to Lt. Maxwell Cain's crew and assumed the Bombardier/Togglier position and was later promoted to Sergeant. } === Recorded Missions === {s:MemberMissionList|1882} == Life before the War == Donald was born 13 Aug 1922 in Marion County, Indianapolis Indiana and was the second youngest of 14 children.
