Another reunion is done and I really regret that I was unable to attend the final banquet. However, I am doing well and am on the mend!

We are receiving many requests for corrections to crewmember data on the website. I would like to advise all that this update to the database is in progress, and is going slower than expected. At present, I am the only one making the changes. The work involved in editing the database to make these changes takes time, and is quite challenging.

Since the last update of the Historian’s Corner, Andy Swinnen has taken on the task of adding single photos to the crewmen of the 401st BG. Paul Bellamy is working with the 1st Air Division and is very active on our group’s forum and FB Page.

A new website is available which you might want to check out: it’s the Imperial War Museum, American Air Museum in Britain. You can register and add/change information as well as add photos.

Our Association and web site are dedicated to honoring the men who served in the 401st Bomb Group and preserving their memories. We are always in need of pictures, diaries and documents to help us tell the stories of the 401st Bomb Group. Please review our web site and provide us with missing information such as crew photos, aircraft serial numbers, and nicknames of aircraft that you may have. Any changes to our database required documented proof, of course.

Note: If you send photos via email please ensure that your photos are scanned at high resolution, (at 300-600dpi), if possible. You can also send copies, (not originals), to my home address. Documents and Diaries may also be sent as well. I suggest you contact me at my email address below so we can coordinate any details.

I can be reached by email at Historian if you have any questions or things you wish to share.
