Separately, is your Dad listed in the WWII Memorial Website 'Registry of Honor'? It's at www.wwiimemorial.com, under 'search the Registry'. They tried to list all WWII Vets, but we've seen a lot of 401st (and other Units') men's names not listed. You can do it for free, (and for $10.00 add a photo). The Website describes 'how-to' and 'where-to'.
