10/3/2004 9:30:52 PM | The last entry for Madame Queen in the Project Bits and Pieces booklet is "ZOI" for back in the U.S. 4 June 1945, so no telling where it ended up. There are a lotof planes that have dates when they ended up in boneyards like Kingman. There are negatives of Madame Queen - B65442AC, 6455AC (J), and A65644AC in the National Archives.

I am Mr.Kaddieyatu Darrah, The Former Special
Assistant to President Charles Taylor of Liberia. I am
58 years old. The whole World is completely aware of
the recent outbreak of war in Liberia and the removal
of President Charles Taylor from the seat of power as
the only condition for acceptance of cease fire by the
REBELS that fought the Government.
Sequel to the out break of war in Liberia, I have in

rehabilitation of Liberian Army Barracks and purchase
of Military War Ship. I diverted this fund and

with some Diplomats attached to Benin Rep. Right now,
I am making plans in order to work out modalities to
have the fund moved overseas. My plan is in such a
way, that the fund will be sealed and moved as a
Diplomatic cargo. I have been guarateed that the
procedure is 100% risk-free, but I need the assistance
of a foriegn partner with whom I will strike this deal
as I am in exile and cannot travel overseas. Also I do
not want anyone I knew in the past to have hands in
the deal.
I am still under the care and protection of the
Government of Benin Republic, therefore I want to use
this opportunity, to safeguard the fund as the future
of my children depends on it. All our bank accounts
were frozen so I have nothing to boast for except this
fund. Your kind attention is highly needed to execute
this deal quietly. Once I receive a positive response
from you I will tell you the amount involved in the
transaction and I will like you to state the
percentage you shall take for your assistance. We can
as well go into a JOINT VENTURE business and the
sharing ration can be discussed in due course.

1/13/2005 8:33:40 PM | I was the radio gunner on Madame Queen from before D-Day untill Oct.44. The information I have is that later it was forced down on the Continent. Repaired, and at the end of the war it brought POW'S back to recovery camps and returned to the States when the war ended. I still have frequent contacts with the copilot ( Chartier) and the ball gunner ( Nicholson) and waist gunner ( Pear)Pilot ( Kuta) is dead, and I have been unable to find Otto Fisher( waist) or Robert Greenleaf(engineer). Would appreciate any leads on any of the other crew members.
I have not heard of Madame Queen being still in the States and would like anything you are able to find out on her status. She took us to many rough targets and our copilot said we picked up 246 holes during the Weimar air battle- she was one reliable tough bird
and the ground crew were superb.
