My uncle T/Sgt Jesse C. Corley was the engineer on this aircraft. I am interested in fiunduing ou some of the details on this crew, missions flown, and personal experiences. He is still living, but he is starting to get feeble.

On Home Page, click on (missions), then at Combat Mission List click on (Politz/Sorau)and then at Combat Mission Summary click on (1st Lt. S.P. Wilson& Crew) - - as you scroll down you will find list of crew members, details of last mission on 4/11/44 and a list of all missions flown.
A special greeting and thanks to T/Sgt. Corley.

Will see if there are any pictures of this plane in the National Archives when I get back home.  You might like to get your own copies........

No negatives in the National Archives of this B-17, in fact there are no known photos according to the Bits and Pieces project.  If anyone has any, you might want to make a copy for the group and get it in the photo collection mentioned in the last newsletter.

Sir,
I believe my great-uncle John Daly was a bombardier on your uncles plane. I am just beginning to get info but I have a crew loss report showing a T/SGT JESSE C. CORELY who became a POW with a home of record Batesburg,SC. Shootdown date would have been 11APR44 and MACR#4015.  Sean McDonald
