If DOn Byers doesn't get to this first, I can dig up some info when I get back from a trip I'm on.  Can send you a list of crew members (If you remember the pilot of the crew, look on the website under crews), missions and planes flown when known.  It there were b-17s mentioned with the missions, I can send you info on the planes and if photos exist. (See board for my entry on getting photos from the archives)

Robert,

    I looked through the entire 401BG Book of crews and was unable to find Robert K. Auger listed amoung the crews listed.  Was he a crew member or ground grew?  Other wise you need to contact George Menzel to see if he has any info on him that is not published.

You can also contact:
National Personnel Records Center,
Military Personnel Records,
9700 Page Ave, St Louis, MO 63132-5100;
Request several NA FORM 13043.

I really do not know much about my dad's time at Deenethorpe. I think some of the planes he worked on were as follows...Duffy's Tavern, Maggie, Screw U, Heavan Can Wait, Pistol Packin Mama, Hangover Haven, Fancy Nancy, Donnie Donnie?, Fitch's Bandwagon, The Saint and Ten Sinners. I am going to do more research and stay in touch. I am mailing my check for the PFG newsletter tomorrow.
