I recently came across a great Internet site, www.multimap.com, which provides very detailed and accurate maps of all parts of Great Britain. You can ask for Deenthorpe and bring up a map showing the outlines of the old airfield (runways, perimeter track, etc.) and all the surrounding fields and villages. You can also locate hotels, restaurants and other places of interest.
