My Uncle Charles Kirkman is the last surviving member of the R.D. McCord Crew, 612th Bomb Squadron. A DVD of the 401st Bomber Group was made called "The Way It Was, November 1943 - May 1945". I have taken that DVD and placed it on my Kirkman Genealogy web site. The video can be viewed in five parts at the following URL:
