Dennis W. Brinson

I have been trying to research my Uncle Dennis Brinson's service history. A copy of his records has him assigned to the 615th Bomb Squadron, ETO in 1944. his rank I believe was 1st or 2nd Lt. and was a B-17 Co- Pilot or Pilot.If you can find any info I would really appreciate it.

The quickest 'start' would be to go this Website's 'History'>'Combat Air Crews'>'615SQ' page and click on each crew (by pilot's name) until you find your Uncle's name. With that info, the credited missions for that crew should show, and then you could click on each mission and read what happened on each.

That's a start, but there are a host of official and unofficial sources to follow from there, depending on what you wish to find.

Looked through all the squadrons and did not find your Uncle's name. This is not unusual.

Thank you for your assistance. I finally located his crew and found him as a co-pilot with C. S. Bennett. Hope to find more when the search site opens back up.This has really been a great find for me and my family. THANKS AGAIN Dennis

There seems to have been an error in my first message. My uncles name was J. G. Stevenson and I located his Squadron. He was a co-pilot in the C. S. Bennett Crew Thanks Dennis
