Paperwork?

Does anyone have, or know where I can find, copies or images of Forms 1, 1A, and F?

What are the subjects of the Forms? I'm sure the Air Force Historical Reseach Center at Maxwell has examples of these forms in their records. Will check the internet and see if they have an internet contact point.

Scott,

Form 1 seems to have been an aircraft status report, or log, of some type. It is mentioned as being referred to before takeoff, and being filled out after landing. The others I haven't seen enough references about to be sure exactly what they are, but they seem to deal with the aircraft itself as well.

There were some forms they filled out later on one of which was the load list of the aircraft and the other was when they returned from a flight they had to fill out a form that had a picture of B-17 and you would show where you had been hit by flak or aircraft damage. I will look and see if they have a form number on them.

Re: Form 1,1A of the B17 aircraft log book. I happen to have original log book pages dated 6/13/43. Form 1 & 1A only.
I,m not familiar with the F form. Maybe that form was held in the engineering shack??
