That post-War publication had the best information available at the time, but is known not not to be complete.<br><br>The 401st's 'Blumenthal' is Gerald I. Blumenthal, a Radioman, but I believe he was a Group Radio Maintenance Facjljty man (and not an Air Crewman).<br><br>I realize this conflicts with your embarkation information, but is it possible the '401st' you are looking for is the 401st 'Squadron' (and not the 401st Bomb Group)?<br><br>Win Bryson<br></td> </tr> </table> </td> </tr> </table>
