| My father kept in touch with Max through the years.....they were bonded as I suspect most ball turret gunners were to their pilots.  My father died of a brain tumor this week, and we found out that Max died in May.  That was the last of the crew. If anyone out there knew my father....he didn't talk much about his experience in the war....he was 17 at the time.<br/> What was the name of his plane?  <br/>
