| No <nowiki>--</nowiki> I know he worked on the planes not flying on them <nowiki>--</nowiki><nowiki>--</nowiki>He goes by Bunk <nowiki>--</nowiki> I have a picture of him form the 401 Bomb group book published in 1945. He is working on a plane that was damaged by a German Flak on a mission over France  I have several pictures of him in front of planes, but you can not see any of the planes' names<br/>

| This 401BG Website (History&gt;Assigned Aircraft) lists B-17 serial number 43-87706, 'IN-U', 'Satan's Chillen', and if you 'click' on the serial number, lists the Crews and missiona it flew.<br/> <br/> If you can save and print that page for your Uncle, he may recall some names, and you could try to contact them through this Website's Forum or the 401BG's current membership Directory. <br/> <br/> (The latter is one good reason for becoming a member of the 401BG Association, presuming you're not currently a member.
