He was a member of the 612th Bomb Squadron and served as a gunner with the crew of G. F. Bingham on the aircraft named Hell's Angel out of Chute 13, in England. Alex's last mission was flown on D Day.

If you knew him or of him, please contact me at my email address.

Thank you!
|- | '''Harold Bingham'''
7/6/2007 5:08:42 PM | George Bingham was my father. He died in 1952. I have been looking for information, pictures, contacts, etc. to better understand his role during the war. I would welcome any pictures, stories, etc. you could share with me.

I do know that Francis W. Hoad, who was part of the crew during its initial missions, was living in Oklahoma. He recieved a Distinguished Flying Cross for a 1/11/44 mission several years ago.
|}
