His plane was serial # 42-97448, I cannot find a nickname for it anywhere. He flew with the 614th from February 1944 until his capture in France in April 1944, he was sent to Stalag Luft IV , where he remained until the Death March.<br/> Other members of the crew where...<br/> 2ndLt C.S. This moring I had a phone call from Mary Ksieniewicz,his widow. She said that her son was killed in a training accident at Hobbs,NM July 24,1945. Also said that all membrs of that crew are now deceased.Mary Ksieniewicz now lives at 110 <br/> Hillcrest Drive Florence,MA 01062.
