| A problem with &quot;Be there Baby&quot; is that there is a negative number A65769AC in the National Archives (probably of the aircraft), but the name has not been associated with a specific serial number B-17 in the reference materials I have.  If you know the serial number of &quot;Be There Baby&quot;, I can look it up and give you a mini-history of the plane, see if there are any similar dates in the history of both planes and that crew, and get the serial number/nickname connection to the people that keep track of such things.<br/>

| thats the problem, i dont know the serial number. all i can say for sure is that it saw service from june to whenever in 1944.  Thanks for the reply and any other info that u have on this aircraft would be helpful as well.<br/>

| Without a serial number, I can't really add anything.  There is no mention of BTB in any of the crew lists, so it probably flew before Aug of 1945, and nothing remarkable happened to it or it would have been written up somewhere.  Sure wish someone had a serial number they could associate with it.  Mary Alice has negative numbers 65449AC and and B65713AC(J) in the archives as well as a Group Blue Book photo and nose art in Volant's book on nose art.  <br/>
