| Here is more information on L. Berneburg that was mentioned in another post: &quot;info on L.(bernie)Berneburg,pilot 401 bg. I think 615s,B-17 nicknamed (DOTTY). Mr Berneburg passed away a few years ago in Fort Worth Texas.Thank you for your help.&quot;.  <br/> <br/> Lt. Col. Lavern L. Berneburg died on November 30, 1999. The Dotty referred to was for his wife (who died in 1990).<br/> <br/> Bernie, as his friends called him, was my Uncle.  If you would like any more information on him, please let me know.<br/>
