| Sir,<br/>  One of the planes on that mission was Heavy Date  #43-38788 from the 612th. She was shot down that day by flak and crash landed at the airbase in Fassberg. I have some info on the crew and a couple photos of the plane. It was an interesting story what happened to the crew after the landing.<br/> <br/>  If I can be of help email me.<br/>  Hans<br/>

| Is Oranienburg near Fassburg?  My dad's plane, Heavy Date, with a later crew crashed landed on a German runway there after an April '45 mission and I was curious if any parts of it might be in a museum.  <br/>
