He was a member of the 8th Air Force, the 401st Bomb Group, a co-pilot on a B-17, shot down over France on March 13, 1944 during the Daylight Bombing Raid over Berlin. His plane was called the Nasty Habit. I know that some of the crew survived, he did not. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
|- | '''Donald Byers'''
11/28/2001 11:18:46 PM | Have sent you a page for Vic Maslen's Book on the 613th with your late uncles name listed.

Don Byers
|}
