                                    <td style='vertical-align: top;'>Sir,<br> I have just come across info concerning my great-uncle John Daly who was bomardier on the Also Ran-Still running. We (family) did not really know the details of his war time service and subsequent internment at StalagLuft 1 in Barth. I called John yesterday when I found the info about his aircraft while visiting a musuem with my 8 year old son yesterday. He remembers your father (the info I had stated Sam EVADED,along with CPL Morrissey, but John told me he was &quot;in the camp also&quot;. John also told me about an incident at Deenethorpe where the gunner (SOKOL??) accidentally had a runaway with his guns and hit a tool shed. I am now gathering as much info as possible to make a mini-scrapbook of his tour/experiance. I have just found this wonderful site and the one at wwwarmyairforce.com.
