| My uncle, Allen D. Brown, was Engineer and Top Turret Gunner on the crew that included Leonard J. Mendelson (Bombadier), Gaston M. Fox (Pilot), Gerald L. Blaise (Co-Pilot), Darrel Wilson (Navigator), Jerome Sabel (Asst. Engineer), Duane G. Brandt (Radio Operator), Charles Sierra (Asst. Radio Operator), Cecil C. Estess (Asst. Armorer) and Joseph Gulles(?);  My uncle Allen was fatally wounded on the April 10 mission - his 25th - to Brussels Belgium / Brunswick Germany.<br/>
