I want to replicate this jacket and hope to find a color photo of this jacket or the nose art on the plane. | I don't know if I can be a much help, Richard, but a lot of nose/jacket art was inspired by the artists of the day. For example, Ice Cold Katy:<br/> <br/> <img class='ForumMaxImgWidth' src='/Images/Archive/Full/Plane_IceColdKaty.jpg' /><br/> <br/> was inspired by this image from Alberto Vargas:<br/> <br/> <img class='ForumMaxImgWidth' src='https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/72/2f/26/722f26ab3362b167566c60790635ef89.jpg' /><br/> <br/> And the artwork for Grin and Bare It does look to be of a similar quality. If not Vargas, then possibly someone from that period.
