8/22/2013 2:49:35 PM | I was noticing in the PDF histories that Capt. Schaunaman flew missions in both the 612th and 615th. On the website he is listed under the 612th, but not the 615th. Just curious as to how a determination is made as to where to list the airmen if they flew with more than one squadron.

8/22/2013 3:21:43 PM | Capt. Schaunaman was a trained Lead pilot, and was one of those men and machines transferred into the 615th at the end of February 1945 when all lead/pathfinder duties were concentrated into that squadron.
Once all the info from the loading lists is entered into the database it will generate the correct squadron assignments for all aircrew, at the moment it's a mixture of their first assignments with some of the updated ones as and where they've been able to be added.
