Message |- | '''Paul Bellamy'''

2/27/2012 6:24:16 PM | I came across this entry in the 2095 EAFFP unit history:

April 1, 1945.
Platoon received call at approximately 1815 hrs to dispersal No. 15, upon arriving radio wires were on fire in radio room of Aircraft.
Extinguished fire and returned to station.

Around that date dispersal No. 15 was where 44-6506 SC-N "Satisfaction Guaranteed" was usually parked, but does anyone know if she was the aircraft involved in the incident?

This was pretty much the final entry in the 2095th's history, as the unit was disbanded a few days later and absorbed into the Base Services Squadron of the new 431st Air Service Group.

All the best,
Paul

Paul Bellamy

|}
