Its been a while since I sent a message. I have been busy, though, and now have my Father's (1st Lieutenant John J. Marshall) crew photo. I have alot of other documentation that I have yet to sort through. I noticed a request for "letters from home" on the last PFG. I have some letters, but they are from my father to my mother. Does the associaion want them also?
I have attached a scan of the front and back of th wcrew photo. The back shows that it is an official USAAF photo.

I have just been informed by the website that it does not accept PDF files. What should I do now? I do not have the ability to change the file type.

|- | '''donaldbyers'''

5/18/2010 1:25:21 PM | John,

Send to me [|historian@401bg.org] and I can do that. And the letters yes that is what they are looking for. When we had the letters from home segment a few years ago it went great I couldn't help getting a tear in my eye. No names are mentioned and they are not fully read. They extract just enough out of the letters to give a glimps of life in Deenethorpe and the home front.

Thanks Don

Sgt.
