| My copy arrived on Monday morning.<br/> I've read it three times now, it's certainly an interesting tale.<br/> <br/> For those reading it from a purely 401BG point of view, read on its own it won't tell you much. <br/> When read alongside the other first-hand accounts from Deenethorpe it adds an element of grittiness that is otherwise seemingly fleeting, without going into unneccessary detail.<br/> It is of course one Veteran's <i>life story</i>, not just his wartime service, and as such covers many things, some pleasant, some not, and is obviously written straight from the heart.<br/> <br/> Elmer, <u>thank you</u> for putting your story to paper.<br/> It reminds me very much of my own Grandfather's book, in style if not content.<br/> <br/> All the best,<br/> Paul<br/> <br/> <span style='font-size: 85'>Sorry, I'm not very good at book reviews....</span> <br/><br/>Paul Bellamy<br/> <img class='ForumMaxImgWidth' src='/public/Attachments/ForumNew.MainPage/resource1.png' /><br/>
