| I think there is only one way to know who were the aborted/spare aircraft on that day and that would come from the load list.  As I saw this one the 24 Aug 1944 Load List refering to the spares and aborted aircraft.  And that would come from the National Archives.<br/> <br/> Don <br/><br/>Sgt. Donald C.
