Just registered thought I'd better join this site as Deenethorpe is the closest 1st bomb Division airfield to my place of birth and where I grew up, approx. 5 miles. Anyway as I am putting together a model of the airfield does anyone out there know what colour Nissen huts and airfield buildings were externally all the references I can find are black and white, really useful! 😞

Thats very good of you, however apart from president Blair PM has me baffled sorry to be a bit dim but what do you mean by PM. Anyway I'm new to the 8th, 1st Bomb Div etc. having previously been RAF and U-boat orientated so you have my undivided attention.
