So I hope you can understand the post.<br/> <br/> I am from Holland and with the start of 2012 I adopted an grave on Margraten War Cemetary. Actually, it is not a grave but a name on The Walls of The Missing. The name that I have adopted is the name of Waistgunner SSGT Forrest R. Cope. He was a member of 614th Bomb Squadron and died on December 11th in 1943. In May I started a search for Forrest and it sounds maybe strange but i really would like to know this man better.<br/> <br/> My results of my search for this men are visible for everybody on my blog. I write the things that i find in letters to Forrest. <br/> Thanks to this site I can find a lot of information about the 614th and Forrest. But I really want to know if there is someone who can give me more information. Is there maybe somebody on this forum who has connections with people on his old airplane? | Oh,<br/> <br/> and I have an other question. I wrote now letters about him in the army. I would also like to write letters to him about about who he was. Where he came from, what his character was. All in tribute to this man. Therefore I probably got in contact with his relatives. But I don't know how to feel about it. What if his family doesn't want that I contact them? I did some searching on the internet and eventually contacted Forrest Cope's  brother.
