| Don, As you know my Dad was ground crew chief on the Heavenly Body, and I am working on his information and the snapshots that were in his photo album so that I can bring copies to the reunion.  I was wondering, do you or anyone else know if the names of some of the ground crews were ever put on the side of the planes like some of the air crews did?  Since they were with the plane for a longer time than the air crews were it sort of makes sense.  I have seen something in a couple of his snapshots that make me think that perhaps they did. | It would have had the crew chiefs name, his assistant and some times the top 2 below the assistant.  And the crews retated back after their number of missions were completed BUT the ground crews stayed until the war ended or they recieved orders out of England.<br/> <br/> Scott <br/><br/>Msgt.
