The 2095th Engineer Fire Fighting Platoon (Aviation) get the big boys toys out during an exercise at Deenethorpe:

The crash tender is a Reo-Cardox Class 150 (6x6 Reo chassis/cab with a Cardox Corporation tender body and fittings) with both foam and CO² tanks.
(Thanks to MilFireGuy for the info, who'd like to include them on his website firetrucks-atwar.com if possible, suitably credited of course.)

Photos from the Blue Book (as they didn't make the cut to get into the USAF Photo Archive/NARA) with minimal cleaning up by myself.

The B-17G fuselage in the photos is almost certainly one of the 450th Sub-depot's "hangar queens", but without a date for them it could be one of many.

All the best,
PB

Is sure a training exercise and can see how it is cut away pretty clean for training. Good photos Paul may want to put them on my web site also.
