This is a question I am putting out to all the members regarding the WIKI site.

I would like to know if anyone besides me has tried to ask any questions or leave comments on the WIKI site?
The reason I am asking is I have tried twice and not only is my question never approved...it is also never answered.

Therefore I am wondering if anyone else has tried? Especially since I have seen nothing added anywhere. It is my hope the board will place the old web site BACK online for all of us.

win-win

Jackie - I second your motion.
1. My 'Wiki-score' presently is 8-0-0:
- - 8 = 'Add a comments' made since late Feb.;
- - 0 = Responses or postings executed; and
- - 0 = Source or authority identifications for any information on Wiki pages to-date.
2. My 'Quick Search' score is 'sometimes':
- - Crew searches by name is about 50% 'no results';
- - Assigned Crews List searches are 'zip' so-far; and
- - Mission searches are about 25% (with a page-full list of Crews that I didn't search for).
3. Returning to the previous Web-site is a good idea - we wouldn't lose anything (because Wiki hasn't added anything to lose). Examples: Replacing 'tabs' (that were clear, fast, reliable) with a 'search box' (that doesn't search well) isn't 'progress'. And re-worded pages (Missions, Aircraft and Crews) are now 'muddier', not clearer. Returning to the previous Web-site is a good idea - we wouldn't lose anything (because Wiki hasn't added anything).

Win,

I am so glad you mentioned the so called quick search function. I have yet to have it work properly for me. I was not even able to pull up my own father.

I have wondered for sometime just how bad the WIKI site was for everyone else and I am glad the problems I have had are being validated by others. I have also wondered how many new people who "found" the WIKI site would be absolutely turned off as it does not function at all and that does not even include the problems with so much missing information.

I hope the board members will insist that the old site be placed back as it was. It is past time something was done. Not having all the valuable information available is just plain wrong and is indeed a discredit to the 401st.

I look forward to hearing of others are having the same problems we are or perhaps they have just given up.

Ok ..... Board members....please put the old site back!
