Summary:
On this, the second mission of the day, incredibly two crews flew both missions, and Major White, one of the leaders of the earlier mission, led the second mission as well. The briefed target was a rocket site on the Pas de Calais, but because of cloud cover it could not be bombed. The Group therefore found a secondary target, a railroad junction and bridge, which was attacked successfully. No fighters or flak were encountered.
