Summary: Again the target on this afternoon mission was a pre-invasion facility, the railroad marshalling yards at Kons Karhaus. The 401st provided the Low Box of the 1st Combat Wing. Results of bombing were excellent, the bombs dropped demolishing the railway workshops adjacent and extending to the roundhouse, which was the MPI. No flak or fighters were encountered.
