While the weather in the target area was clear and visibility good, none of the Boxes bombed with good results. While all three Boxes missed the MPI, it was reported that all bombs were within the marshalling yard area, and extensive damage was caused.
Flak at the target area was described as meager but accurate, causing minor battle damage to 11 of the Group's aircraft. No Luftwaffe fighters were seen.
